A driving force behind the success of the forum was Dr Peggy Jungke (HZDR), who played a key role in the organization, moderated the discussions and promoted the dialogue between science, industry and clinics with great commitment and focus. Their commitment and coordination made a decisive contribution to the lively and results-oriented atmosphere of the event.

From expertise to exchange: two days full of insights

The first day of the event at the Parkhotel Dresden was dedicated to specialist presentations and discussions covering the entire radiopharmaceutical value chain - from the production of clinically relevant radionuclides to the development and approval of radiopharmaceuticals, their clinical application, radiopharmaceutical logistics and technological solutions.

The participants also gained valuable insights into European networks and institutions, including the Belgian radiopharmacy cluster Rad4Med.be and the work of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).

Formats for networking and matchmaking offered numerous opportunities for exchange, while the evening talk show "Hot Spot Saxony - How radiopharmacy is finding its home here" rounded off the day with lively discussions and exciting perspectives on regional development.

From insights to industry: the NUKLID tour

The second day of the event took the participants to the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), where they were able to experience regional excellence up close as part of the NUKLID Industry Tour. The program included visits to VKTA Rossendorf, ROTOP Pharmaka GmbH, ABX advanced biochemical compounds GmbH, CUP Contract Labs, TRIMT GmbH and Eckert & Ziegler SE, as well as to the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) at Dresden University Hospital and the HZDR Institute for Radiopharmaceutical Cancer Research.

Prof. Sebastian M. Schmidt, Scientific Director of the HZDR, welcomed the participants to the HZDR with the good news that our innovation platform Hi-Acts is continuing successfully - and remains on course for innovation.
